ピラトが、「では、メシアといわれているイエスの方は、どうしたらよいか」と言うと、皆は、「十字架につけろ」と言った。ピラトは、「いったいどんな悪事を働いたというのか」と言ったが、群衆はますます激しく、「十字架につけろ」と叫び続けた。
